Ream National Park

The Ream National Park, located 18 km east of Preah Sihanouk Town, was declared a protected area in 1993. Covering an area of 150,000 hectares, the park stretches to the coastal zone, including sandy beaches, jungle, mangrove forests, estuaries, offshore coral reefs, and two islands (Koh Thmei and Koh Ses). It also contains Macaques, sun bear, boars, dolphins, over 155 species of birds, and rarely glimpsed species of animals such as mouse deer and pangolin. There has been a rumor of a tiger a long time but no confirmed sighting of it.
