National Museum

 

Located to the north of the Royal Palace, the National Museum was erected in the Khmer style between 1917 and 1920 and was officially inaugurated in 1920. Then it was renovated in part in 1968.

 

This museum displays valuable works of ancient Khmer art, including ceramic ware, earthenware, pottery, flatware, woodwork, silverware, and other sculptures made of jade, marble, bronze, brass, copper, bamboo, metal, etc. It opens from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
